Italian: Italian bees are the most popular bees to purchase in North America, and it’s easy to see why.  They are known for being gentle and great honey producers; as well as strong foragers that do a great job at keeping their hive clean! If you are new to beekeeping, you should consider Italian bees.  Their gentleness and productivity provide a great way for new beekeepers to become comfortable around bees.
