This course will cover all topics and more from the Washington State Beekeepers Association (WASBA) Beginning Beekeepers course. The course will take place over two Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and will be filled with practical knowledge geared at getting you started as a successful beekeeper in Washington state and prepare you for the WASBA Apprentice Course.

Class tuition will include:
  • WASBA Beginning Beekeeping Course Book (Digital & Hardcopy).
  • 2 Certification attempts.
  • WASBA 1-year membership.
  • 1-year membership to the local beekeeping club of your choice.

Cost: $100 per person
Seats: 12 per course
Course Time: Approx. 12 Hours  (2 x 6.5hr Sessions including 30-minute lunch break)

Spring Session 1:

*Disclaimer – There is a 48-hour cancellation policy in effect for all classes. No refunds will be issued if you must cancel within this time period. We occasionally host Guest teacher workshops, these classes will have a no refund policy. If the Snohomish Bee Company must cancel a class, we will fully refund the cost of the class. Our classes are held in a classroom that requires climbing a flight of stairs. Please let us know in advance if you require special assistance.
